| | Which waterfalls you liked very much? | | I have seen some waterfalls in India and some waterfalls in U.S.
Out of all the waterfalls I have seen, I can't forget the pleasant experience I had
in Multnomah Water Falls in U.S.
This is the second highest waterfalls in U.S.
We went on to the top of the waterfalls which is about 600 feet high.
To reach there we had to,walk about 1.2 miles on the paved trail.Though it was 1.2 miles we had to take rest many times because of the upward journey.
While walking on the trails,we had very very beautiful views.
The Columbia River Gorge, the forest with beautiful scenarios(It was in falls season )
on the Larch Mountain, the pleasant cool climate etc made us so refreshed, that we just can't forget that waterfalls.
In fact that is my first experience hiking to the top of the hill to see the waterfalls starting point. On top there was a small creek with cold water flowing
very calmly.
Which waterfalls you liked very much? Please share your experience. | |

| | Wow! There's somebody else here who wants to walk around the world! | | I'm amazed to find somebody else who wants to walk around the world! We're a rare breed.
How are you planning to do it? What route will you take? Will you bring a pack animal, and if so, what kind? What languages do you think you'll need? I'll stop throwing questions around now and give some details about my plans:
I plan to travel up the eastern seaboard of the US, then into Canada, then sail to the UK, cross the channel into France, then head for Eastern Europe. I'll then go along the southern border of Russia, then Mongolia, then China. From China, I'll head south through Vietnam, then Indonesia, then Australia, then try to find a ship to Chile. From there, I'll head north along the Western Coast all the way up to the Columbia River (Oregon). Then I'll finish by heading South-East across the US to end up back where I started.
I plan to bring along a pack horse to carry a tent and more supplies. I'm thinking the best breed to choose would be mustang because they are known for being hardy and smart, and not being picky about their water.
I want to blog the whole trip on the internet by using a ruggedized laptop with satelite internet access and a solar charger.
